Objective of leaning I Stem Verbs.

The I Stem Verbs is like the other verb lessons before, the only difference that you will now see the other ( S ) in Mohawk and it is the ( Ts ). The other odd sound you will hear is the letter ( S ) occurring between the consonants ( H and I ) you will get the English ( Sh ) sound. You as a learner will be able to identify what verb root and where the verb comes from, so that you will be able to predict the I stem subjective pronouns that will attach to the verb root.

There are two kinds of I Stem Verbs,

1. Subjective I Stem verbs

a. tsí’stenht You take scales of the fish.
tsí’s/tenht

b. tsí’stenhtha’ You take the scales off the fish.

kí’ts/tenh/tha’
Subjective you pronoun

Habitual suffix

2. Dualic I Stem Subjective verbs.

c. tenhsi’tstenhrhó:tha’ You are a brick layer.

Note! Commands in singular dual and plural never have a suffix because you are commanding ,one, two, or three or more people to do something.

The next series of lessons will develop your verb vocabulary and give you a good understanding of where the verb come from, along with this you will learn many different habitual suffixes.

Objectif de I penchant souches verbes.

La conjugaison des verbes souches de classe I se déroule comme pour les verbes des leçons précédentes, la seule différence que vous verrez maintenant l’autre (S) en mohawk et c’est le (Ts). Le son autre son étrange que vous entendrez est la lettre (S) placée entre les consonnes (H et I), vous obtiendrez la version anglaise (Sh) sonore. Vous en tant qu’apprenant serez capable d’identifier la racine du verbe et d’où le verbe vient, de sorte que vous serez en mesure de prédire le pronoms subjectifs qui sera attaché à la racine du verbe de classe I.

Il existe deux types de verbes souches de classe I:

1. Verbe subjectif de classe I

Notez! Les commandes de dualité au singulier et au pluriel ne prennet jamais de suffixe parce que vous commandez un, deux, trois ou davantage de personnes à faire quelque chose.
